- To perpetuate the historical and social life of that portion of the city of Pittsburgh known prior to 1907 as Allegheny City.
- To promote friendships of members who were born in or had resided in Allegheny City prior to December 7, 1907, and to extend the same privileges to descendants and immediate families of the early settlers of Allegheny City.
- To support efforts to preserve the “Commons,” monuments and landmarks in Allegheny City.
- To support efforts to enhance people’s positive view of Pittsburgh’s North Side.
- To Create and sponsor tours, lectures, publications and educational programs that perpetuate the history of Allegheny City and Pittsburgh’s North Side.
