Heathside Cottage

Built in the mid-nineteenth century by bridge engineer James Andrews in what is now the Fineview Neighborhood of Pittsburgh, the early Victorian brick cottage located at 416 Catoma Street is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is protected by a Landmarks preservation easement.

The Neighborhood Community Development Fund (former known as Northside Community Development Fund) is a 501(c)(3) CDFI certified by the Department of Treasury. Established in 2000, the organization is dedicated to a mission of “empowers people of all races, ethnicities and socioeconomic levels to grow their businesses – revitalizing their neighborhoods and helping their communities.” The NCDF operates four lines of lending1) small business finance (including start-ups), commercial real estate finance, affordable housing finance, and energy efficiency / green finance lending.
